Dysphagia/IDDSI
This course introduces participants to dysphagia, a condition affecting swallowing, and the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI). Learners will explore the causes, signs, and risks associated with dysphagia, as well as techniques for safely preparing and modifying food and fluids. Through practical demonstrations, participants will understand how to apply the IDDSI framework to enhance safety and quality of life for individuals with swallowing difficulties. This training is vital for care providers in clinical and domestic settings.
£250 a session for 12 learners plus VAT
